BASELINE ASSESSMENT

The Baseline Assessment focuses on understanding your current technology estate and evaluating the readiness of both your Azure target environment and the applications planned for migration.

The goal of this engagement is to determine whether the organisation is ready to begin migration workstreams and to identify any preparatory work required before migrations commence.

  • The Baseline Assessment examines the key factors required to successfully prepare for Azure migration​:

    • Azure Target Environment Review

    • Technology Estate Discovery

    • Migration Data Collection and Analysis

    • CMDB and Source Data Integration

    • Stakeholder Workshops & Business Logic

  • A comprehensive Migration Readiness Assessment Report will be produced covering key information such as:​

    • Azure environment readiness evaluation

    • Technology estate discovery findings

    • Migration readiness analysis

    • Identified risks and constraints

    • Prioritised recommendations

    Detailed findings and recommendations are presented through a stakeholder walkthrough session.

BASELINE+ ASSESSMENT

The Baseline+ Assessment builds upon the Baseline engagement by extending the analysis into detailed migration planning. This engagement helps organisations move beyond readiness evaluation and begin structuring the migration programme itself.

  • In addition to all Baseline assessment activities, we work with customer teams to perform deeper analysis of applications, services and migration strategies. This includes:

    • Application Treatment Strategy

    • Environment Classification

    • Application Categorisation and Alignment

    • Dependency and Interdependency Mapping

    • Workload Affinity Analysis

    • Migration Wave Planning

    • Stakeholder Alignment and Sign-off

    • Programme Timeline and Resource Planning

  • Includes all Baseline Assessment deliverables, plus:

    • Migration Roadmap Report, including:

      • Application treatment strategy

      • Migration wave planning

      • Dependency and affinity analysis

      • Estimated timelines and workstreams

      • High-level resource and planning guidance

    • Walkthrough sessions with stakeholders to review both reports.
