BlakYaks wins ‘Cloud Technology of the Year’ at the BCS UK IT Industry Awards 2025
We are absolutely thrilled to share that BlakYaks has been named Winner of ‘Cloud Technology of the Year’ at the BCS UK IT Industry Awards 2025, recognising the innovation and engineering excellence behind our Azure Accelerator Packs.
Hosted by Computing and BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, the awards are widely regarded as the most credible and rigorous in the industry. Now in their 15th year, they shine a spotlight on the organisations and teams who are shaping the future of technology in the UK.

A fantastic night at the ceremony
The evening was brilliant from start to finish. It opened with a fantastic Lion King inspired performance by Heartburn, followed by a keynote from BCS CEO Sharron Gunn and Computing editor Tom Allen, reflecting on the challenges and opportunities the industry has faced this year.
Then came the moment everyone was waiting for: the announcement of the category winners. The ceremony, hosted by Hugh Dennis, had been lively and engaging throughout, but the atmosphere shifted as we entered the Technology Excellence awards. When Cloud Technology of the Year appeared on the screen, we paused in anticipation… and then our name was announced.
For a moment, there was a shared sense of disbelief before we made our way to the stage, delighted and really proud.
The rest of the night was spent celebrating, smiling nonstop, and yes… dancing with the trophy in hand!
A huge win for an exceptionally dedicated team
This award means a lot to us because it recognises the incredible dedication, craft and engineering talent of our team.
Our Azure Accelerator Packs are the result of countless hours of testing and development to change the way in which clients deliver Azure platform solutions today - and this recognition shines a light on all of that effort.
To everyone at BlakYaks: thank you for the hard work, the attention to detail and the constant drive to raise the bar. This win belongs to every single one of you.
To our customers and partners: thank you for your trust and belief in our approach. Your support has been instrumental since we launched our Accelerator Packs and pushes us to keep innovating - we couldn’t have achieved this without you.
And lastly huge congratulations as well to all the organisations recognised across the categories - the level of talent and innovation showcased on the night was inspiring.
