Enterprise Project Delivery Lead (EPDL) x 3

Role Purpose

Reporting to an Enterprise Project Practice Lead (EPPL), the Enterprise Project Delivery Lead (EPDL) is responsible for the hands-on delivery of one or more enterprise projects, ensuring solutions are delivered to scope, quality and agreed timelines.

Working closely with the EPPL, the EPDL provides day-to-day technical delivery leadership, technical ownership and coordination of project resources, acting as the bridge between technical delivery teams and project governance.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Lead the delivery of one or more enterprise customer projects, taking ownership of scope, milestones and technical outcomes.

  • Ensure project deliverables meet agreed functional, technical and quality requirements.

  • Proactively identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies and issues.

Technical Ownership

  • Maintain technical accountability for the solution being delivered, ensuring alignment with:

    • BlakYaks’ approved architectures and designs

    • Azure best practices

    • Security and governance requirements

  • Work closely with Enterprise Project delivery colleagues, peers and governance teams  to ensure effective technical execution.

Collaboration & Governance

  • Partner with the Project Governance and Project Management functions to manage timelines, reporting and customer communications.

  • Provide accurate delivery status, risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders.

  • Support change control and scope management processes.

Quality & Standards

  • Work closely with the EPPL to ensure delivery quality and adherence to internal standards and IP.

  • Ensure that organisational IP, automation and frameworks are applied effectively within projects.

 

BlakYaks R&D, IP Creation and Maintenance

  • Work closely with the CTO and engineering colleagues to ensure you and team members are playing an active role in critical R&D backlog work (e.g. maintaining existing IP and creating new). Where asked to lead, you may take direct ownership of one of BlakYaks product-based offerings (e.g. Azure Accelerator Packs)

  • Regular dialogue with the CTO and EPPL to ensure available engineering cycles across the engineer team members are applied to the R&D/IP backlog where practical and in an optimal way.

 

Customer Engagement

  • Act as a key point of contact for customers during delivery.

  • Build trust through clear communication, clear expectation setting, reliable execution and proactive problem-solving.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience delivering enterprise-scale Azure projects.

  • Hands-on background in cloud delivery, migration and integration.

  • Proven ability to lead technical delivery teams without direct HR line management responsibility.

  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Comfortable operating in complex, multi-workstream project environments in enterprise clients.
